Do you accept international students?
Yes, we do. We offer accommodation services to both home and international undergraduates and postgraduate students in Durham
What is the process of application like for international students?
We have a strong online representation of our properties and all images are equal to reality with us. Hence, we encourage international students to check the website for available housing options before contacting us via email, phone call, or form signups. As soon as you communicate your booking options, we will send you a contract stating the rent breakdown, the deposit terms, and the documents needed to process your booking.
What is the minimum and maximum tenancy length for international post graduates?
We offer contract lengths on a case by case basis so get in touch on [email protected] for more info.
Do you accept couples?
We do not have housing options suitable for couples.
Do you accept tenants with children?
No, we do not accept children below the age of 18 years old.
Do I require a guarantor?
No, we do not expect you to have a guarantor. Instead, we charge a deposit which will be returned at the end of your tenancy.
What is provided when I move in?
On arrival, we provide a free UQ welcome package which includes the UQ sweatshirts alongside other useful items.
How do I pay my rent?
Depending on what is most convenient, you have a variety of options to pay your rent. Rents can be paid through international transfer services like Flywire and BACS if you do not have a UK bank account. If you wish to open a UK bank account while you are visiting the UK, we also advise payments through direct debit.
Can I see the property before signing my contract?
Yes, we offer virtual viewing for all of our properties. This allows you to get an understanding of the layout and features prior to you signing any agreement.
Can I rent for a group?
Yes, we accept both individual and group letting enquiries or bookings.
When do I make my first payment?
Your deposit will need to be paid within a week of signing your contract.
Do you offer accommodation specific to my requirements?

What is security like in your accommodation?
Our properties are in a safe environment. However, we have CCTV cameras operating 24/7.

What documents am I required to provide as an international resident?
To book an accommodation as an international student, the following documents will required
- Passport proving your right to study in the UK
- Right to rent sharecode
- Proof of student status
